A NOTE FROM YOUR BOARD OF DEACONS

The month of October is Pastor Appreciation Month, and as an elected Board of Deacons, we want you to know that Central’s pastoral team are always encouraged by your kind notes and thoughtful expressions of how their ministry impacts your life. All of us have likely had moments where we've benefited from their prayers, encouragement, teaching, and partnership with us in growing our faith and walking closer with God.

You may also know that the Board of Deacons provides an opportunity each year in December for any who would like to give toward a Christmas Offering for our pastoral staff. As always, there is never any pressure to give, but we know many of you enjoy the chance to support them in a tangible way during the holidays.

Given that those two opportunities were already relatively close together, we've decided this year to combine them throughout the month of October. If you would like to share a note of encouragement for Pastor Appreciation Month, you are welcome to drop a card or note in any of the dropboxes located at the sanctuary exits, or we'll have a basket located at the Central Hub in the lobby. And if you'd like to give monetarily to our pastoral staff this upcoming holiday season, just write "Pastoral Staff Christmas Offering" on your giving envelope, or visit the link below where you'll find that option within our online giving system.

To our team of pastors, we hope you know that you are loved, and your work is appreciated. And to you, our church family, thank you for making Central your church home and supporting ministry here and around the world.
