May starts with a bang as we welcome one of Central’s own, Sara Groves, live in concert to celebrate Mothers’ Day. Sara graduated from Evangel University before beginning a recording career that has earned her multiple Dove Award nominations and accolades including New Artist of the Year in 2002 and Special Event Album of the Year 2003 by the Gospel Music Association. She has been named one of the best Christian music artists and earned Album of the Year by CCM Magazine. Sara and her husband, Troy, launched Art House North “to provide resources that communicate the worth and necessity of all vocations with access to speakers, teachers, and guest artists. All Art House programs promote community, life, and world engagement, helping people become more and more interested in the same things that Jesus is interested in.”
