Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians chapter 8 that, just as we strive to excel in all aspects of our Christian walk, we should also excel in what he calls the ‘grace of giving.’ In both momentum and mechanics, our Global Footprint is growing through the generosity of Central’s church family in supporting our Footprint Fund.

The Footprint Fund is where we put our money to work to serve God’s mission and leave a God-sized footprint in the world around us. Footprint Fund supports a lot of ministry endeavors we are part of at Central, including local ministries right here in our community like our partnerships with Victory Mission and Freedom City Church, as well as initiatives in our neighborhood schools.

There are also ministries that invest in the next generation like Chi Alpha at Missouri State University and Drury University, as well as our internship program for ministry students and direct support of Evangel University and AGTS.

your support of the Footprint Fund makes outreach possible, both here in springfield and around the world.

We also support special missions projects, like a church plant that launching this year in Paris, France. Footprint Fund also puts us in a position to respond immediately to emergency missions needs. A great example of this is our response to the Ukrainian refugee situation in Eastern Europe. We’ve already given just over $25,000 to partners working on the ground in Eastern Europe

But our Global Footprint is not only about giving financially, as important as that is. It’s about personal involvement at every level. In June, a signature missions ministry team from Central will respond to an opportunity for ministry in the largest Assemblies of God congregation in Italy. For five full days, children of the local congregation, as well as from the surrounding neighborhood will be the focus of our team’s ministry, and the Footprint Fund has made that outreach possible as the first of what we hope to be an annual Signature Footprint Focus.

In more ways than ever, Central continues to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ using media, giving, and going. Thank you for supporting our Global Footprint!
